Welcome to the website of the Beacon Hill Garden Club. Founded in 1928 by twenty residents of this historic Boston neighborhood, BHGC has long been dedicated to creating beauty, stewarding green initiatives, caring for our parks and public spaces, and inspiring our members with programs focused on conservation, horticulture and flower design. Each year, the club donates proceeds from its Hidden Gardens tour and the sale of its books to local, regional and national environmental and horticultural non-profit organizations.

We invite you to get to know us by:

To become a member of the Beacon Hill Garden Club, a neighborhood resident must own a hidden garden that is easily accessible to the public, attend monthly meetings, and participate in our civic planting projects. Members open their gardens to the public periodically for the Club's annual tour. Through education, beautification and fundraising efforts, the club provides Beacon Hill, Boston and the wider community with an increased appreciation of horticulture and an improved environment.

The Beacon Hill Garden Club is a member of the Garden Club of America, the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts and the Boston Committee.
